Lucien Soulban was born in Saudi Arabia, where he spent twelve years before attending school in Texas; he later relocated to Montreal, where he has been based for much of his career. He is a game designer and writer specializing in role-playing games, having worked with companies including White Wolf, Dream Pod 9, and Guardians of Order. His RPG credits include Heaven & Earth (2001), the Silver Age Sentinels superhero RPG (2002), the Orpheus role-playing game, and the Dungeons & Dragons supplement Children of the Night: The Created (1999). As a novelist, Soulban wrote The Alien Sea (2006) and Renegade Wizards (2009) for the Dragonlance line, as well as Desert Raiders for the Warhammer 40,000 setting and a tie-in novel for Vampire: The Requiem. Beyond tabletop gaming and fiction, he has written scripts for major video games, including Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, and Watch Dogs 2. He appeared as a guest at the Otakuthon convention in both 2007 and 2008.
