Synopsis
The Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard trilogy may have concluded, but its characters have more to tell. While Magnus is off visiting his cousin Annabeth, his friends from Hotel Valhalla find themselves in sticky, hairy and smelly situations as they try to outwit moronic giants, murderous creatures and meddlesome gods, and to stave off Ragnarok at least until he gets back. Each of the nine stories is told by a different character and set in a different one of the Nine Worlds of Norse mythology: Amir Fadlan learns why he hates clothes shopping in Midgard, Mallory Keen discovers in icy Niflheim that insulting a dragon can be a good idea, Alex Fierro plays with fire, and a disco sword, in the fire giants' Muspellheim, and through all nine worlds Thor jogs to log his million steps.
