Synopsis
In the magical land of Xanth, every inhabitant is born with a unique magical talent, a birthright so fundamental that those without one are exiled to the nonmagical land of Mundania. Bink, a young man who appears to have no discernible talent of his own despite Xanth's magic clearly working around him in strange ways, faces this exile unless he can prove otherwise. Determined to uncover the truth about his abilities before his time runs out, Bink sets out from his home village on a quest across Xanth's whimsical and often dangerous landscape, encountering magical creatures, tricky enchantments and unexpected allies as he searches for evidence that he belongs in the land of his birth.
