Synopsis
The trilogy's concluding volume brings the surviving godlike forces born from earlier books' delusions toward a final confrontation: Morgen's drive to remake existence as clean and orderly collides with his own chaotic reflection Nacht, while Konig and other fragmented believers pursue their own visions of what should survive. Familiar characters, including the aging swordsman Wichtig and the destructive thief Stehlen, are swept into the escalating, apocalyptic war.
