Belmer Droon's mercenary team is shipwrecked on the dangerous shores of Doegan while pursuing their target, Eidola of Neverwinter. As grotesque monstrosities and fiends hunt the survivors through the wilderness, the group is decimated before reaching the city of Eldrinpar, where a betrayal exposes hidden truths about their leader.

Beyond the first volume, no independently confirmable ISBN was found for this edition.
  • From the series record (Double Diamond Triangle Saga): A 9-novella multi-author 1998 series following the Double Diamond Triangle trading company's affairs across Cormyr and the Dalelands; a companion/sequel work to The Nobles, but a separately-titled saga, not a duplicate of those books. Only the first volume, The Abduction, has an independently confirmable ISBN from the sources checked.

Neighbouring works

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
