Synopsis
Months after Annie's return, Adam still has nightmares about his unborn nephew, and his relationship with his boyfriend Vic is strained as he recovers from torture by a cult. Banshees are attacking humans and fae, and the Lost Ones, mortals trapped in the Spirit Realm, are close to an uprising. The Between, a forbidden realm where Adam once fought the Red Wolf, holds a secret the elves want kept. Someone is also erasing knowledge of the elven religion from every known source, which even Jack, the librarian at Rogue Community College, cannot explain. Adam has to find how these threads connect and who is behind them before the Spirit Realm is destroyed.
