Synopsis
Bloodmarked is the second book in Tracy Deonn's Legendborn Cycle, following Bree Matthews as she comes to terms with her ancestral powers as a Medium, Bloodcrafter, and Scion after successfully infiltrating the secret society of Arthurian knights known as the Legendborn Order. When her love interest Nick is kidnapped and an ancient, escalating war between demons and the Order intensifies around her, Bree and her friends go on the run to try to rescue him, defying the Order's ruling Regents, who want to keep her contained and controlled because of the unprecedented scope of her abilities. Bree must decide how much of herself, and her own safety, she is willing to risk for the people she has come to trust.

- From the series record (The Legendborn Cycle): A contemporary Arthurian-legend reimagining following a Black teenager who discovers a secret society of modern-day 'Legendborn' descended from King Arthur's knights. A speculative untitled 4th-book placeholder appears on the book's rating-platform series page (no real title or date, 'TBA') -- per Article 2, not registered; this trilogy is treated as complete per its own publisher's 3-book boxed-set marketing.
