Synopsis
Since he was six, Cal has struggled to cope with his mother's drinking and her psychotic episodes; cooped up in their dirty council flat, he dreams of a new life. It all begins when he gets off a train at the wrong stop, in the middle of the night and in the middle of nowhere, and finds himself stranded at Corbenic, the threshold of a modern reworking of the legend of the Grail. The journey that follows will be difficult, and if Cal achieves his goal it will not be without cost, for the first step is that he must return to Corbenic.
