Synopsis

Camille D'Artigo is a half-human, half-Fae former operative whose family's magic often misfires at the worst moments. She has married into a dragon family whose patriarch openly resents her. At the Winter Solstice she is welcomed into Aeval's Court of Darkness and begins training under Morgaine. Her allies are still recovering from injuries and her own secrets weigh on her. Then the demon Hyto returns and shatters her fragile stability. Camille is captured and taken to the Dragon Reaches, where her father-in-law intends to break her spirit and her body, and she must survive long enough to escape.
