Synopsis
The Little Ghost lives in Eulenstein, an old castle above the town of Eulenberg, and spends its nights with its closest friend, the eagle owl Schuhu. Ghosts are supposed to wake at midnight, but the Little Ghost longs to see the world by daylight. One day it wakes at noon and wanders through the castle until it runs into a school class. While it flees, a sunbeam turns its white form black. Escaping down the castle well, it ends up in the town's sewers, cannot find the way home, and alarms the townspeople, who start calling it the Black Stranger.
