Synopsis
Hell's Devil is dying for reasons nobody understands, so an heir to the dark throne has to be found. Lucifer searches among humans and chooses a boy named Filip, but Death's attempt to bring him goes wrong and Lucifer ends up with the wrong child. Filip is a good-natured boy who would never harm a soul, and now he is Lucifer's only hope. The novel follows the long effort to teach him evil while Filip makes friends and enemies in a strange, gloomy underworld full of devils, demons and damned humans in chains. He also begins to sense a wicked plot against the throne.
