Synopsis
Dragon Death is the third book in Gael Baudino's Dragonsword trilogy, set in 1980 Los Angeles and in the fantasy land of Gryylth. Suzanne Helling, taken to Gryylth, has become the warrior Alouzon Dragonmaster. The manipulator Helwych deceives the kings of Gryylth and Corrian into sending a war fleet against Vaylle, while he uses sorcery and modern troops to seize power. Alouzon, in Los Angeles, must find a way to bring help to Gryylth, while the Spectre sends forces of its own into the land. The story follows Alouzon as she faces a choice about the future of Gryylth. The book was published in 1992 by Roc Books as a paperback, and it follows Duel of Dragons in the trilogy.
