Synopsis

Dragon Flight is the second book in Jessica Day George's Dragon Slippers series. After the Dragon Wars, Creel, a seamstress who has grown bored with her new life, joins an adventure against a neighboring country that is secretly breeding dragons for invasion. She is reunited with Shardas, the dragon king, faces a dangerous new kind of dragon, and may rekindle her friendship with Prince Luka. The book is a light-hearted, action-packed fantasy for middle-grade and young adult readers, and it follows the first novel, in which Creel discovered the power of a pair of strange slippers. It is the second book of the series and was first published in hardcover by Bloomsbury in May 2008.
