Synopsis
Suzanne Helling, a young woman in 1980 Los Angeles, is pulled into Gryylth and becomes Alouzon Dragonmaster, a warrior. Gryylth was created from the unconscious mind of Solomon Braithwaite, a history professor who attempted suicide. It resembles fifth-century Roman Britain, but its people speak modern English, no one remembers more than a decade back, and the land ends in mist. When Braithwaite's alter ego Dythragor, the land's dragon-riding protector, refuses to name a successor, the dragon Silbakor chooses Suzanne. The main conflict is a war against the Dremords, who use the Tree of Creation, a source of chaos, as a weapon.
