Synopsis

In Drowned Ammet, a young fugitive named Mitt, fleeing danger in South Dalemark after events tied to his own troubled past, stows away aboard a small boat belonging to siblings Hildy and Ynen and forces them, at real risk to himself, to sail north away from pursuit. During the voyage, the three young people rescue a mysterious figure pulled from the sea, an encounter that unsettles the already tense dynamic between the reluctant travelers. As the boat's course shifts unexpectedly toward the Holy Islands, Mitt, Hildy, and Ynen find themselves drawn into a tangle of political intrigue and half-understood magical forces well beyond the immediate danger Mitt was originally running from.
