Synopsis
Emily Windsnap and the Crystal Caves, marking two decades of the series, begins when Emily comes across a strange bangle set with an unusual crystal near Rainbow Rocks. Investigating the object's origin draws her and her friends back to Halflight Castle, where she reunites with Aaron and with Neptune, ruler of the oceans. There they discover a cavern filled with crystals, and with help from Mandy they begin to learn the true history behind the jewel and what may happen if its warning is ignored. The central challenge facing Emily is a diplomatic one as much as an adventurous one: persuading two famously self-important rulers, Neptune and the Viking god Thor, to set aside their pride and cooperate for the greater good before the situation the crystals point toward can turn into a full catastrophe.
