Synopsis

The twenty-fifth book of The Legend of the Ice People, published in Swedish as Ängel med dolda horn and in English as The Angel. Already as a child Tula Backe discovered that she was not like others, and that she did not use her inborn gifts only in the service of good showed that she was one of the 'touched' of the Ice People, the cursed descendants of Tengel the Evil. But an evil power infinitely stronger than she is laying its own devilish plans: Tengel the Evil himself, who has chosen Tula as the one who is to wake him from his long sleep.

Notes

  • From the series record (The Legend of the Ice People): The original 47-volume saga (1982-1989) following the cursed Ice People clan across generations of Scandinavian history, marked by inherited supernatural gifts, a medallion-bound curse, and (in its later volumes) an underground kingdom where time itself runs differently. Two later continuations exist (a further ~35 volumes across two more parts, published years afterward) and are not yet catalogued here pending closer genre review.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings, but they resolve to the exact same sequence for this book, so one combined line is shown instead of two identical ones.
