Synopsis
Jane Yellowrock is the vampire queen of New Orleans, and that makes her a target as she works to keep the peace. Vampires hold grudges for centuries, and the Heir, the sire of the Pellissier bloodline that produced her former boss Leo Pellissier, opposes her rule. Jane, a skinwalker who shares her body with a mountain lion spirit named Beast, faces the Heir and his allies. She relies on the city she protects, her friends, her found family and Beast. The question is whether she can hold her title against a very old enemy who has had a long time to plan.
