Synopsis
Shimmer, a blue dragon shifter exiled from the Dragon Reaches, works for Alex Radcliffe, a vampire who runs the Fly By Night Magical Investigations Agency in Seattle. Their jobs keep putting them in danger, since someone is always trying to kill them. Meanwhile a serial killer is targeting the city's elderly Fae, draining their bank accounts before murdering them. When Chase Johnson asks the agency for help, Shimmer and Alex learn that the killer is a doppelganger who can take whatever form his victims most desire. Their colleague Bette volunteers to act as bait, but the plan goes badly wrong.
