Synopsis
Red is the second daughter of her kingdom, born to be sent to the Wolf of the Wilderwood, a figure from legend, in the hope that he will return the world's captured gods. She is almost relieved to go, because the forest is the one place her uncontrollable magic cannot hurt anyone she loves. In the Wilderwood she learns the legends are false: the Wolf is a man, and her power is a calling rather than a curse. If she cannot learn to use it, the monsters of the forest will consume the Wilderwood and her world. A dark, romantic fantasy of sisters, sacrifice and a forest with a will of its own.
