Synopsis
Princess Anya is a young royal in the Kingdom of Trallonia, where her stepmother's new husband, a scheming wizard, is working to take over the realm. When his plans force her to flee, she leaves with Ardent, one of the kingdom's talking Royal Dogs. Her goal is to free Prince Denholm, a frog turned so by her stepfather because he had courted her sister Morven. Anya can break curses with a kiss, but only if she first makes a special lip balm from rare ingredients, so she sets out to collect them. Her travels bring her together with a thief who has been turned into a newt and a group of mischievous wizards, and she begins to take on responsibility for the people of her land.
