Synopsis
Ghost Hunter continues the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series as Eostra, the last surviving Soul Eater, unleashes a shadow sickness that spreads rapidly among the forest clans, sickening hunters and threatening to unravel the order the clans have maintained since the earlier defeat of the Soul Eaters. With conventional remedies failing and the sickness worsening, Torak comes to understand that stopping it will mean confronting the world of the dead directly. His path leads him to the Mountain of Ghosts, a place tied to old fears and older grief, where he must face restless spirits, including the tormented ghost of his own father, whose fate has haunted Torak since the earlier loss. Renn and Wolf remain close as Torak prepares for a confrontation unlike any he has faced before, reckoning with both the living threat Eostra poses and the unresolved sorrow of his father's death.
