Synopsis

Ed Greenwood, the creator of the Forgotten Realms, concludes the story of Shandril of Highmoon in this third volume of Shandril's Saga, his first Forgotten Realms trilogy. First published in 2002 and later reissued in a mass-market edition with new cover art by Jon Sullivan.

Where it sits

Notes

  • Closes Shandril's Saga, written well after the first two novels specifically to complete the trilogy.
  • From the series record (Shandril's Saga): A solo Ed Greenwood trilogy following the fire-wielding Shandril Shessair: Spellfire (1988), Crown of Fire (1994), and Hand of Fire (2002). Book 2, Crown of Fire, is the same novel already Core-registered as an entry in The Harpers -- it was originally catalogued under that series' numbering before being retroactively grouped into this trilogy, and is cross-referenced here in prose rather than duplicated; this project keeps each book under exactly one series.

Neighbouring works

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
