Synopsis

Holy Terrors concludes the Little Thieves trilogy roughly two years after Vanja brought down the cult she had once helped set in motion. Having stepped away from the court life and romantic entanglements of the earlier books, she now works alone as a vigilante, using her old thief's skills for her own private sense of justice rather than survival or ambition. That solitary existence ends when she is drawn into a new conspiracy reaching into the empire's seven royal families, a plot whose scope forces Vanja to confront allies and enemies from her past even as she tries to keep her current life, and the independence she has built for herself, from being pulled apart by obligations she thought she had left behind.
