Synopsis
Home from the Sea moves the Elemental Masters series to the coast of Ireland, where selkie lore and the traditions of the sea intersect with the series' established system of Elemental magic. A young Elemental Master investigating disturbances along the shoreline becomes entangled with a family carrying selkie blood and the supernatural obligations that come with it, as old sea-magic customs collide with more recent Elemental practice. The story draws on Celtic folklore surrounding seal-folk who can shed their skins to walk on land, weaving it into the series' broader magical framework of practitioners bound to Fire, Water, Air, and Earth, while introducing new coastal traditions and characters to a series that had, until this point, largely stayed within England.
