Synopsis
Written as an entry in CJ's journal. Two kids from Earth rescue a boy from another world who is being held as a hostage, and they cross the United States with him before a blast of magic carries them to Mearsies Heili. There they meet a sailor girl who is in charge of a Mysterious Magical Object, and CJ and the gang come to their rescue. The events of the story lead directly into the troubles told in Fleeing Peace.
