Synopsis
Twelve-year-old Sophie Foster has always been different: she can hear other people's thoughts, a secret she has kept from her human family in San Diego. On a school field trip she is found by Fitz, a teenage boy who tells her that she is an elf and that she belongs in the Lost Cities, a hidden realm unknown to humans. Leaving her family behind, Sophie must start over at an elite academy while uncovering why she was hidden among humans at all.
