Synopsis
Payal Rao is a powerful telekinetic and corporate CEO whom many see as cold and ruthless. Canto Mercant is a telepath whose family considers him flawed because of a spinal injury. He works in intelligence for the Mercants and prefers to stay out of sight. Both serve as anchors who help keep the PsyNet, the psychic network vital to their species, from failing. As the network begins to collapse, Canto needs Payal's help, and the two are forced to face a shared past and a growing, intense attraction. They must work together to prevent widespread destruction while each struggles with a lifetime of isolation.
