Synopsis
In present-day Israel, sorcerers live openly beside ordinary people, yet an extremist group called the Sons of Simeon hunts them while the government looks away. Reed is an empath, able to shift the moods of those around him, and he works as a reluctant waiter in Tel Aviv. After a march for sorcerers' rights ends in a murder, he learns he is the next target. His friends, some sorcerers and some not, set out to find the people who want him dead, while Reed tries to keep going with his daily life and begins a new romance. As the threat draws closer, the group must decide how far they will go to protect one another.
