Synopsis

Lolth's Warrior concludes The Way of the Drow trilogy as Drizzt Do'Urden returns to a Menzoberranzan destabilized by the events of the earlier two books. His legendary escape from the city years before has spread doubt about the Spider Queen Lolth's authority and the founding myths of drow society, and factions loyal to Lolth's chaotic rule now clash openly with drow pushing for change. With no room left for neutrality in the Underdark, Drizzt is drawn into this uprising as a pivotal figure, caught between his roles as friend, father, and a man who has never fully belonged to either the darkness of his birth city or the light of the surface. The novel follows this internal drow conflict as it threatens to reshape Menzoberranzan and the wider region around it.

Notes

  • The Way of the Drow #3
  • From the series record (The Legend of Drizzt (author line)): R.A. Salvatore's 40-novel line (1988-2025), incl. The Sellswords; sub-series recorded per book. Continues with Drizzt's daughter (2025-).

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
