Synopsis
The Mennyms have always lived in danger, ever since their maker, Kate, instilled in them an indomitable life force, a life force that has carried them through many perils. In the fifth and last book of Sylvia Waugh's series a lone rag doll prays for his family's revival, and the secret of the Mennyms is at last understood as they achieve their freedom. The Times Educational Supplement called the sequence remarkable.
