Synopsis
Bowen Knight is a security expert who has returned from death with a chip in his brain that blocks telepathic interference. The chip could fail at any time and kill him. Kaia Luna is a chef and former scientist who lives by the ocean. She is wary of Bo and keeps a major secret of her own, but she will not ignore his condition. When Kaia is abducted by people who intend her harm, Bo offers to give his mind to his enemies in exchange for her safe return. Their relationship develops under the pressure of that threat and of the danger to both of them.
