Synopsis
Brave young Prince Redrought must defend his country from a supernatural invasion of ferocious werewolves, vampires and zombies. When his brother the King is killed in battle, Redrought has to rally his people and learn how to defend their tiny kingdom against these savage invaders, and in the end he must carry the fight into enemy territory, the Land of the Ghosts, where he will either fall or stand for ever in the legends of the Icemark as King Redrought Athelstan Strong-in-the-Arm Lindenshield, Bear of the North. The prequel to The Cry of the Icemark, first published in June 2013.
