Synopsis

For twenty years King Tristan Kendrick and the druid Queen Robyn have kept the peace between the rival peoples of the Moonshae Isles. But the Ffolk have forsaken their goddess, the Earthmother, for the new gods, and one of them, the capricious and malevolent storm god Talos, turns their worship against them, trying to ignite war between the Ffolk and the Northmen. It falls to Alicia, one of the royal daughters, to uncover her own destiny and confront the evil that now threatens the land, while a mysterious old prophet appears and disappears foretelling doom and the goddess's return. The first book of the Druidhome Trilogy, which picks up where Douglas Niles's Moonshae Trilogy left off.
