Synopsis
Ten years after the Demonstorm, the Unknown Warrior, now Balaia's reluctant ruler, is still mourning the fallen members of the mercenary band the Raven. Denser, the other survivor, has rebuilt Xetesk into the leading college of magic. Then the elves begin fleeing their homeland amid rumours that the dead are returning. Among the returning dead are the Raven's fallen, who reunite to face a battle they cannot win.
