Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Casper Tock dislikes risk, but he accidentally lands in Rumblestar, an Unmapped Kingdom full of magical beasts. All he wants is to get home. The kingdom, however, is under threat from Morg, an evil harpy who is sending her followers, the Midnights, to cause chaos. Casper teams up with Utterly Thankless, a girl who breaks the rules, and her miniature dragon, Arlo. Together they face storms, giants and other dangers in order to protect Rumblestar and also his own world. It is the first book in Abi Elphinstone's middle-grade fantasy series The Unmapped Chronicles, in which hidden kingdoms are linked to the human world.
