Synopsis

The world-changing events of The Amber Spyglass are behind them, and Lyra and her daemon Pan find themselves irrevocably changed as well. In this companion story, set after the conclusion of the His Dark Materials trilogy, the two journey to the far North once more, hoping to ask the Consul of Witches a most urgent question. Published in 2020 with illustrations by Tom Duxbury, it is presented by its publishers as a companion to His Dark Materials and a bridge to The Book of Dust.
