Synopsis
Frost, a swordfighter who has lost her supernatural powers, must journey into the underworld to save herself, a princess and the kingdom they belong to. Along the way she meets demons, sorcerers, giant spiders and other monstrous foes, and she must rescue the princess and protect the world before evil takes lasting hold of it. The second book of the Saga of Frost sends her through the gate that gives the novel its name, on a quest where her sword is her only dependable weapon.
