Synopsis
Taking on bloodthirsty supernatural monsters is how Caliban and Niko Leandros make a living. But years ago, before they became a force to be reckoned with, the brothers were almost the victims of a very human serial killer, the man living next door when Niko was fifteen and Cal eleven. Now a supernatural killer is targeting humans in New York, and the case reaches back to those years, when the two boys had to fend for themselves. Told in alternating timelines, the eighth novel reveals much of the brothers’ childhood, including how they first met the trickster Robin Goodfellow.
