Synopsis
Antimony Price, having fled the Covenant of St. George, finds herself indebted to the crossroads and living with a bounty on her head. Separated from her family's support network, she has gathered a new circle of allies, including her boyfriend Sam, roller derby captain Cylia, a sylph named Fern, and the ghost babysitter Mary, as she seeks refuge in a small town where she meets another sorcerer and begins to learn about the true nature and danger of the crossroads she owes a debt to. Her situation grows more precarious as the crossroads press their claim on her and as Leonard Cunningham, positioned to become the Covenant's next leader, moves into the picture.
