Synopsis
With winter in the Kellarin colony wearing thin, Livak joins Ryshad and Temar in an expedition to reclaim a southern settlement, only for the venture to run into pirates in the islands along the way. As the wizards of Hadrumal are drawn ever further into the colony's affairs, old threats and old debts come to a head in this concluding volume of the sequence.
