Synopsis
In Lovesend, a small town on the Massachusetts coast, three teenagers who disappeared reappear, as if returned from somewhere between life and death. They have become pawns in a supernatural power struggle involving gods and other monsters, among them an ill-tempered moon goddess, and to escape the fate waiting for them they must get through a series of trials. Around them gather the people who love them, sisters, friends and families, and every kind of love comes under pressure, from friendship to romance to family ties. Long, playful and harrowing by turns, the novel slowly reveals the secrets behind the disappearance.
