Synopsis
You wake up alone in a horrible land. A horn sounds. The Call has begun. The Sídhe are close. The magical Sídhe have been expelled from their home and forced into the Grey Land, a place under the earth, a place of darkness and death, and now they have returned to take back what they lost. In a world where teenagers are trained for the most horrific three minutes of their lives, Nessa, who says she is going to live and that nobody is going to stop her, faces her Call. Published by David Fickling Books in 2016, aimed at readers aged thirteen and over, it was shortlisted for the YA Book Prize.
