Synopsis
The Children of Hurin is an epic fantasy novel by J. R. R. Tolkien, edited by his son Christopher Tolkien and published in 2007 from material Tolkien had drafted decades earlier but never completed. Set in the First Age of Middle-earth, it tells the story of Turin Turambar, son of Hurin, and his sister Nienor, whose family is cursed by the dark lord Morgoth after Hurin's capture in battle.
