Synopsis

Set in the Regency era, The Cyprian follows Elena Whitstone and her seven brothers, who share a family secret: the ability to see fairies invisible to everyone else around them. Their quiet arrangement is disrupted when their mother disappears without explanation and their father remarries in short order, bringing a new stepmother into the household. Soon afterward, the fairies the siblings have always relied on for company and small aid vanish, longtime household staff are abruptly dismissed, and the Whitstone children begin noticing signs that their stepmother's intentions are far from benign. Elena is forced to uncover and learn to use hidden magical powers inherited from her own mysterious mother in order to protect her brothers from whatever their stepmother is planning.

Notes

  • From the series record (The Elemental Masters): Loosely connected fairy-tale retellings unified by a shared elemental-magic system rather than a continuous cast.
