Synopsis
The half-fiend Kaanyr Vhok finally arrives at the destination he has sacrificed so much to reach: the heart of Celestia, with his lover and consort, the alu-fiend Aliisza. The second full-length novel of the Empyrean Odyssey follows the two War of the Spider Queen favourites as the pair of fiends struggle to escape the heart of a deeply troubled Celestia while bound to a particularly determined angel, and Aliisza discovers that being held captive there is only a distraction from a far deeper and more deadly scheme. By Thomas M. Reid.
