Synopsis
The House of Sundering Flames opens after a powerful explosion destroys House Harrier, one of Paris's fallen-angel-ruled Great Houses, plunging the city's fragile balance of power into fresh chaos as every remaining faction scrambles to protect its own territory and secrets. The novel follows Thuan, a dragon prince from the underwater Dragon Kingdom working to consolidate his position within House Hawthorn; Aurore, seeking the strength to protect her family amid the growing disorder; and Emmanuelle, trying to uncover the truth behind the explosion, as their separate efforts to navigate the widening conflict converge. Concluding the Dominion of the Fallen trilogy, the novel follows these three as they try to trace the source of the destructive magic now threatening what remains of postwar Paris.
