Synopsis

The Isle in the Silver Sea, published by Tasha Suri in 2025, is a standalone romantic fantasy set in a version of England shaped and reshaped by the stories told about it. At the center of the novel is a witch who lives apart from ordinary society in the woods and a knight sworn to serve the Queen's court, two figures fated, across countless retellings of the same underlying tale, to fall in love and then bring about each other's ruin. As the current iteration of their story begins, both the witch and the knight are aware, to varying degrees, of the pattern that has trapped versions of themselves before, and must decide whether this telling will follow the same path to doom or whether it is possible to break free of a story that seems to insist on repeating itself.
