Synopsis

Peter Shaughnessy is an immortal Irish ghost hunter, cursed nearly two centuries ago with the ability to see ghosts and speak with plants, who has spent the years since wandering from town to town, quietly resolving hauntings before anyone notices him and moving on. Long since ready to die, he instead finds himself unable to escape his curse, drifting through life until he takes a groundskeeper position in the cemetery of Harrington, Ohio. There his carefully maintained isolation is disrupted by a grieving boss, a pair of precocious children, and the local museum director, whose presence in his life makes him reconsider the endless wandering he has resigned himself to.
