Synopsis

The Queen of Nothing opens with Jude living back in the mortal world, having been abruptly exiled from Faerie by Cardan after her hidden rule over him was exposed. Stripped of the power she once wielded, she spends her days on ordinary tasks and family life, cut off from the court she had fought so hard to control. Her twin sister Taryn then arrives with an urgent request that offers Jude a way back into Elfhame despite her banishment. Returning to Faerie, Jude finds a kingdom on the edge of war, with a long-dormant curse now stirring and threatening the stability of the throne. As the first mortal to have ruled as a queen of Faerie, she must confront Cardan again, navigate treacherous court politics, and find a way to address the curse endangering the realm, all while still reckoning with her complicated feelings for him.
